2002 - Come Together and Do The Puyallup - The Puyallup Fair

Well as we know here in the state of Washington the sun doesn't shine everyday and at times we do get a bit wet, Sunday (09/08/02) was no exception. But the rain didn't seem to bother the kids on the rides and if it got to be too much then you could always head for the nearest covered exhibit. But the rain really wasn't that bad and the weather is only suppose to get better all week. So if you get the chance be sure to pack up the family and head to Puyallup for some fun rides, plenty of midway games, and fair burgers.

There is definitely no shortage of rides to choose from at the fair. You can choose from the smaller kids helicopter rides to the little cars or bears in in kiddy land. Or maybe you prefer a bigger kids ride like the Zipper! I can remember riding this ride when I was a kid. Hmmm hope it's a newer one than the one I rode! I can't remember the name of this newer ride but it looked fun and you can find it in the same area as the Zipper. It reminds me of a bunch of hand gliders going around in circles. Oh yeah now it all comes back to me around in circles is the reason I stopped riding those rides in the first place. But it was soooo much fun!

What would the fair be without riding the ever lasting wooden and steel structure that is a land mark of the Puyallup fair grounds "The Roller Coaster". Yes there are plenty of thrills and chills to be experienced at the fair. Oh and don't forget the midway games that will challenge your skills at every level. Be the first to fill the tube with

water and win a prize. Maybe you can knock down the metal milk bottles and win a big stuffed panda bear. Maybe you can pop three balloons and win a Tasmanian Devil stuffed toy. What ever you choose I'm sure you have fun. Continued click here to read more...
